  • Matches a quantity to a number

About this game

Count the Apples helps children connect a group of objects to the written number that describes it. Bloo shows some apples and asks how many there are. Your child counts them and taps the correct number from three choices. This one-to-one counting, looking at or touching each object exactly once, is a key early math skill and the foundation for adding and subtracting later. Numbers stay between one and six, so children can succeed while still being challenged. Encourage your child to point at each apple on the screen while counting out loud. At snack time, count grapes or crackers together in the same way.
