Capital Cities Memory – Geography Game for Kids
What your child learns
- Recalls capital cities
- Links countries and capitals
- Strengthens working memory
About this game
Capital Cities Memory pairs geography with a classic memory game. Half of the cards show countries and half show capital cities, and your child flips them to find each country and its capital. Some capitals are well known, like Paris and Tokyo, while others are surprising, like Ottawa for Canada and Canberra for Australia, which makes for great conversations. Because children must remember where each card is, the game builds working memory as well as general knowledge. Try asking your child which capital surprised them most, then look the city up together on a map and find one interesting fact about it.
